Business research and opportunity analysis
AKM OI is being developed to help small businesses and startups compare options and understand the reasoning behind a decision. We welcome conversations with potential users about the questions they need to answer.
- Opportunity research: examine a potential market, business direction, or growth opportunity.
- Option comparisons: assess alternatives against objectives, constraints, and tradeoffs.
- Scenario analysis: explore how changes in assumptions could affect a decision.

AKM Innovation
Research with defined objectives
Our research focus is externally funded AI work shaped around a sponsor’s problem. We seek collaborations with organizations and research institutions to investigate practical applications and evaluate what works.
- Research planning: define the question, approach, evaluation criteria, and project boundaries.
- AI evaluation: investigate performance, limitations, and suitability for a defined use case.
- Prototype exploration: investigate a proposed approach through a bounded proof of concept, where appropriate.
- Research deliverables: reports, evaluations, or prototypes agreed with the sponsor.
